The campground has a beautiful location with plenty to explore, but it unfortunately suffers from various maintenance issues. The staff did their best to assist, but the facilities were in dire need of upgrades. I wouldn't consider returning until some serious improvements are made, especially regarding the electric issues and the condition of the grounds.
We had a mixed experience during our stay at the campground. The potential is there, with a pretty location and nice campsites, but the maintenance issues were hard to overlook. The pool was closed, and the bathhouse needed serious repairs. We had to fend for ourselves upon arrival, which wasn't ideal, and it definitely affected our overall enjoyment.
Our experience at Bear Cave Resort had its ups and downs. The property itself is set in a beautiful location and has potential, but it suffers from some serious neglect. While we appreciated the attentive on-site staff, especially Roger, the overall facilities left much to be desired. The constant damage from weekend locals was disappointing, and the pool area was in dire need of repairs. It's a peaceful retreat during the week, but I would advise caution if considering a weekend stay.
The campground offers a stunning view from the sites near the river, but unfortunately, it lacks maintenance and the availability of amenities. While the fishing experience in the river was enjoyable and the nearby market had delightful treats, the overall experience was marred by power outages, poor service, and a lack of essential facilities. It's a lovely spot in nature, but be prepared for some inconveniences and limited options if you visit during peak times.
The Riverside campground has a lovely riverside setting that offers a nice escape, but it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of maintenance and infrastructure. While some amenities show promise, there are significant concerns regarding cleanliness and electrical issues that made my stay less enjoyable. It has potential, but it really needs proper investment and attention to the details to elevate the experience.
